Use Shorebird from Claude and other AI apps
Shorebird has an MCP server, so an AI app you already use can read your apps, releases and patches and answer questions about them in plain words.
The server’s URL is:
You sign in with your Shorebird account when you connect. There is no API key to create and nothing to install.
It only reads. It can’t publish, roll back or delete anything, and it sees only what your account can see in the console.
Questions you can ask
Section titled “Questions you can ask”- How many devices used our app in the last four weeks, and how many were new?
- How do iOS and Android compare?
- What share of our users are on the latest release? Which old versions are still out there?
- How fast did yesterday’s patch roll out?
- How many releases did we ship this quarter, and how many patches did each need?
- What was in patch 4?
- Have we rolled back any patches on the latest release?
- How close are we to our plan’s patch install limit?
It can put answers together too: “Write a one-paragraph update on this app for the weekly team meeting.”
If your crash reports carry the patch number (Sentry, Crashlytics), connect that tool’s MCP server as well and ask whether a patch made crashes better or worse.
Connect
Section titled “Connect”Claude
Section titled “Claude”In Claude on the web or desktop, open Settings > Connectors, choose Add custom connector, and enter the URL above. Choose Connect and sign in with Shorebird.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector for the organization first; then each person connects it and signs in.

Google Antigravity
Section titled “Google Antigravity”Open Manage MCP Servers, choose View raw config, and add:
Other AI apps
Section titled “Other AI apps”Other apps that support remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in may not be able to connect yet. If Shorebird’s sign-in page says the app isn’t approved for Shorebird yet, sign in there to ask for it. Shorebird is notified, and you can connect once it’s approved. If the app stops before showing a Shorebird sign-in page, ask for it on Discord or GitHub.
What it can see
Section titled “What it can see”When you sign in, Shorebird asks you to let the app see your apps, releases, patches and how they’re used. The app gets the same view of your organizations and apps that you have in the console, and nothing it asks for can change them.
Its tools:
| Tool | What it reads |
|---|---|
list_apps | Your apps, their latest release and patch, and their platforms |
get_app | One app |
list_releases | An app’s releases: version, platforms, Flutter version, date, notes |
list_patches | A release’s patches: number, channel, date, rollback, notes, size |
get_version_distribution | Which release versions active devices are on |
get_patch_adoption | How far each patch on a release has reached |
get_active_devices | Active and new devices over a period, by platform or release version |
get_usage | Patch installs this billing period against your plan, and per app |
To disconnect, remove Shorebird from the app’s connector or MCP settings.
To ask for a question it can’t answer yet, write on Discord or GitHub.
